An Abortion Doctor Is A Doctor In A War Zone

A beautiful piece of writing by an abortion doctor caught my eye. She is a community citizen, a mother and a physician helping women who need to terminate a pregnancy.

Women who come in for abortions are made to feel so guilty they feel the need to justify to their doctor the abortion they are about to have performed. Doctors like this one avoid mentioning in some circumstances what kind of medicine they practice. The day when such stigmas are attached to abortions cannot pass to quickly. Hopefully, the shaming of abortion will drift away like the stigma against gay people and black people that is slowly subsiding.

Anti abortion protestors harass women walking to clinics. Murderers have killed several doctors who perform abortions. Through all of this, the anti abortion industry has never resolved how a woman can live a life free from law enforcement surveillance while pregnant. Legally declaring the fertilized egg a human being makes the mother in charge of its safety. Any miscarriage would be the death of a human being and subject to investigation.

The anti abortion industry laments a recent Supreme Court decision which limits their ability to lie about abortion clinic safety. It laments that neither Congress or Presidents have repealed Roe while constantly saying they are against abortion.

What the anti abortion industry needs to do is acknowledge a woman’s right to live her life without demands of religious conformity. Religious conformity has brought danger to doctors and guilt to women.

An abortionist (a doctor is someone who helps cure, treat and save people) is rightfully a pariah. These multi-millionaires are far safer than a poor person in the bad part of a big city in America run by a Democrat city council and mayor, e.g. Chicago, Detroit, etc. Just to prove how concerned Dems are to minorities, Planned Parenrhood kills more minorities in these cities than guns or white police officers.

Try a new argument, Jon. The old propaganda isn’t selling.

  2. Grandma

    1) I would like to see statistics on the multi-millionaire status of doctors who provide abortions.
    2) Planned Parenthood offers minorities (in most states, probably not Texas) access to birth control to help prevent unplanned pregnancies.
    3) Try a new argument, Matt. The number of abortions nationally is falling thanks in great part to Panned Parenthood and the abortion clinics which provide birth control to patients.

    1. Henry

“1) I would like to see statistics on the multi-millionaire status of doctors who provide abortions.”

      a) Look directly at a quote from a very famous soft-spoken abortionist hero, “You would go home with a goddamn barrel of money.”

      b) Look directly at the owners of abort clinics. They at times have the clay tile roof upgrades on their expansive homes while their neighbors are slumming with asphaltic roofing. Also, they can have solar panels on roof while their neighbors have none. Not too hard to figure who has the bucks.

    2. Matt Noah

Read George Grant’s Grand Illusions: The Legacy of Planned Parenthood. PP operates in minority neighborhoods for the sole purpose of killing minorities. It is all part of Margaret Sanger’s Grand eugenics plan. Read her book Women and the New Race.

Jon said “What the anti abortion industry needs to do is acknowledge a woman’s right to live her life without demands of religious conformity”.
What about the right to live for the child growing inside the woman’s uterus? I am a father of an adopted toddler where birth mom chose to give birth and place the child for adoption instead of killing her unborn child. My toddler is full of life and brings so much joy to our family.

      1. Dirk 11:41 Welcome to this discussion page and thanks for commenting.

What about the right to live for the child growing inside the woman’s uterus?

I am one of those who does not believe one fertilized cell, the egg, so small it requires a microscope to see it, should be given rights superior to those of the mother. Apparently we disagree on this.

      2. Grandma

The birth mother of your son had a choice. The birth mothers of my two grandchildren had choices too. They had options. They were not forced to carry a fetus to term and then give it up; they were not forced to give birth and keep a child they could not care for; and they were not forced to have an abortion. These mothers did what was best for themselves at the time. Be thankful for what you have and don’t ever second-guess those women.

Jon:“Through all of this, the anti abortion industry has never resolved how a woman can live a life free from law enforcement surveillance while pregnant.”

This is pure fallacy and a poorly constructed straw man argument. This is a phantom issue. If your concerns were truly legitimate, law enforcement would need to be giving surveillance to the population for all other crimes in nonpublic areas. This isn’t how law enforcement works.

    1. Matt Noah

Ask any pregnant woman in America today if law enforcement is checking on her. She will give you a puzzled look and laugh.

  4. Matt Noah

Since Roe v. Wade, 4 abortionists were murdered. Care to provide stats on how many doctors died in wars such as Vietnam, Korea, Civil, Revolutionary, WW1, or WW2? Or how many died in accidents since Roe?

I am proud to escort at the red river Women’s clinic. My views on this have changed 180 degrees. Why you may ask? On the day it dawned on me that when it came to the existence of God the facts showed that he could not possibly exist. I no longer mindlessly accepted the so called morals that had been handed down from ancient times. That does not mean that I reject all moral beliefs mentioned in holy books such as the Bible or the Koran nor do I think religious people are all immoral but neither religious people nor any holy books get a pass. I can be persuaded by facts. Matt if you can answer one question for me it would start me down the road to turning around 180 degrees once more in my views on abortion. Why doesn’t your God do something about the 70% of human eggs that are conceived but do not make it to birth naturally? All those little human beings literally flushed down the toilet and for the most part no one will ever know they existed. If these really are human beings this dwarfs doctor performed abortions a million fold and yet the Anti abortion crowd says nothing. http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Spontaneous_abortion_in_humans

    1. Matt Noah

Why doesn’t your God do something about the 70% of human eggs that are conceived but do not make it to birth naturally?

He is your God as well as my God. He is there for all 24/7/365. His love and mercy exist for the asking. His forgiveness is limitless. His compassion is boundless.

You ask about a woman’s unfertilized eggs. Without sperm from a male, they are not human beings. Many trillions of eggs go unfertilized annually. Many of those females are not married. Some are married but their husbands are not available for copulation, e.g. at war, on a business trip, sleeping, etc. It is not nature’s or God’s plan for every egg to be fertilized and grow in to a human being. A woman cannot physically handle that many simultaneous pregnancies.

As a follow-on, let me state that not all pregnancies end in birth, even if the couple or the woman wishes it so. Miscarriages happen. Those are human beings created in the image and likeness of God. It is doubtful that God ignores their souls The theology of this subject is too large to do it justice here. I think you know where to find it. If not, please ask.

I hope you are now on the road back to Christianity.

    2. Matt Noah

I think I understand your question better after following your link. You seem to be speaking of just the babies growing in their mother’s womb. Yes, many die before birth. They die through no fault of the mother. It is not considered a deliberate act of another person to kill the growing child. Call it as you wish; natural or God-willed. God created nature so let’s put this all on Him. He has big shoulders. If, as most Christians believe, those babies are cared for by a loving God, they are probably in Heaven enjoying everlasting joy in the presence of their Creator. They did not have to endure the struggles of life beyond their miscarriage. This is where theology comes in to play. The difference between miscarriage and deliberate abortion is that in the latter case, a willful act by a number of people destroys God’s creation; a human being. It is against one of the 10 Commandments. It is a serious matter. Just as many Christians were active participants in the Civil Rights movement, many are now involved in the greatest civil rights and moral rights movements of mankind; the deliberate taking of an innocent human being’s life prior to birth. As with a miscarried baby, the murdered baby falls in to the loving arms of God. The difference is we, as Christians, are required to intervene to save human life. But we have to do it according to the laws of God; not going around murdering people in the abortion business.

      1. entech

As you have at some time intimated an acceptance of a literal Noah’s ark I am presuming all the ones that did not make it to birth, for whatever reason, are now enjoying their time in heaven in the company of all those that did not make it birth, as the calculated and deliberate act of a God you call loving and forgiving.

      2. Matt 7:53 The difference is we, as Christians, are required to intervene to save human life.

You conceal the actual difference between a fetus that dies in a miscarriage and one that dies in an abortion procedure. God kills the miscarriage fetus and you let God off the hook. God kills the abortion fetus and you let God off the hook again. But, you treat the aborted fetus differently because it presents the opportunity to control women. Much of the Christian faith is based on putting women down. You are good at it.

        1. Matt Noah

Jon, thanks for agreeing with me and all of Christianity that the miscarried baby is killed (nothing short of killed) by the Flying Spaghetti Monster. You are now one step closer to agreeing with me that the mother and the abortionist kill the unborn baby during a procured abortion.

        2. Matt Noah

God created life. He allows death. He could stop all death if He willed it.

You have no power over death. It WILL come to you some day just it will come to all of us. You have no alternative. There is no god you can invoke to change the rules which you want to live by.

You spit at God and curse Him for not playing by the rules you demand. If you had the power to change things to your satisfaction, then why not invoke those powers and make the world a better place. I praise God for giving me my family, my job, my life and my Faith. I thank Him for what He does for me and the daily blessings he bestows on me.

Jon – there is still time. But none of us knows the day, the hour, the time or the place. But we all know it will come. Choose.

    3. Henry

Adam: “If these really are human beings this dwarfs doctor performed abortions a million fold and yet the Anti abortion crowd says nothing.”

No mens rea. Therefore, no crime. No investigation. Simply a tragedy.

Please provide proof the antiabortion crowd says nothing. I have heard many prayers, but let’s see your proof.

      1. entech

The loud and voluble protests of the crowd on the one are matched by a total silence on the other. In the public domain, perhaps they are frightened to be too loud protesting against the inadequacy of God’s nature.
Not “God’s nature” as one of his attributes, as there is probably no god there are no attributes, but the natural world around us and all of its shortcomings which a perfect God created in his own image.

          1. Matt Noah

entech lives in a parallel universe. I’ve posted some videos that should appear soon in this blog, if Jon allows it.

          2. entech

Proof nothing to compare to your statement that you have heard many prayers, but there again you say so many things – you have some line ready for any event. I can only say the loudness and volubility don’t make it to my eyes or ears.

Matt you know Jon permits anything, even your lies calling him (and any one else that doesn’t agree) a liar. You should know by know, even you should know, that if you have more than one video in a post it will go straight for mediation and be delayed. I actually lose a few posts and I am sure Jon approves of mine, but he does not have total control of all of his own publication.
I wonder what kind of inadequacy makes you add a stupid remark “if Jon allows it”.

Here are the violent anti-choice protesters – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrFC4BRlPyM

Finally, the Fargo Shanley HS March for Life leading the annual March in Washington, D.C. stopped on the street outside the US Supreme Court by police officers arresting partially nude and violent pro-abortion protesters who had blocked the street. The march went on as soon as the 20-30 Jon Lindgren puppies had been taken to jail for processing – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H91hylp3KVA

Please make note of all the middle-aged white men in the crowd trying to suppress the rights of women. Wait, no, those are high school girls. THAT will never be seen on CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS or NBC.

  6. Matt Noah

Let’s get back to the topic of the blog, as many are fond of saying. If abortionists are working in a war zone and 4 have been killed in 45 years, how does that compare to Vietname, Korea, WW1, WW2, Revolutionary or Civil wars? The burden of proof falls on Jon since he made the claim. Since Jon also likes to make claims about driving cars, how many abortionists have died in car accidents in the last 45 years? How many in other accidents, e.g. drownings, skiing accidents, snake bites, mosquito bites or croc attacks? Anyone been blinded by the sight of a rosary or a crucifix or cross?

  7. Matt Noah

Here is a question for Jon. If he answers it, he will indict himself regardless of his answer.

Who is the murderer of someone who dies after becoming drunk (or not) and falling in to river, drowning?

    1. Matt 9:11 Who is the murderer of someone who dies after becoming drunk (or not) and falling in to river, drowning?

Ah yes. One of the favorite pastimes of critics here is to ask me trick questions. I’ll bite. There might have been a murder or there might not have been one.

      1. Matt Noah

Exactly! So, in a miscarriage there is no proof of a murder. God didn’t do it. You’ve exonerated Him.

The only chance for a miscarriage to be a murder is if the woman or a third party did something, e.g. beat her in the stomach, drank to excess, did drugs, etc.

        1. Matt 1:46 The only chance for a miscarriage to be a murder is if the woman or a third party did something, e.g. beat her in the stomach, drank to excess, did drugs, etc.

You are one of the most naïve people I have come across. Apparently it your church’s position, the same one Father Jim posted, that nothing bad will happen to pregnant women who have miscarriages after abortion is made illegal. The Catholic Church lives in the same bubble you do.

Law enforcement may well investigate the man you described. They may inquire where he was last seen, did he have enemies, etc. So, there may, or may not, have been a crime.

With a young woman who tells authorities she “lost her pregnancy” are you unaware she could have done it with no help from anyone else. And you are telling me the anti abortion industry will not demand an investigation?? The anti abortion industry will, and is already doing so in some locations, demand investigation of terminated pregnancies. This can involve looking a computers to see if the woman looked up self induced miscarriages, talk to her friends to learn if she was unhappy with her pregnancy, etc.

          1. Matt 9:26 The police will investigate if there is evidence of a crime, bruises, alcoholism, etc.

Police also act on tips. They have informants. “My friend told me she was not going to see this pregnancy through. Now she is not pregnant. Here is her name and address.”

          2. Wanna Be Sure

Matt @ 9:26. “alcoholism,” You just fell into Jon’s trap. Alcoholism in and of itself is not a crime. It often presents the opportunity for civil crimes, such as driving accidents, rage, etc. but until that happens, nothing much can be done. If an alcoholic drinks at home, never leaves the house except to walk to the grocery, and lic shop, and mind themselves, again nothing can be done. There is the exception of intervention by family and those close, but it is a clinical thing, not criminal. If you know a closet drinker, and go to the police, they will refer you to Social Services, or some other facility. They will NOT investigate. That is in regards to alcohol. It isn’t against the law to drink, transport, or have in possession alcohol. Today, another factor is drugs, a different situation entirely. Possession, transportation, selling, manufacturing and using drugs is against the law, and under the jurisdiction of the police.

Thanks for all the answers to my question. To summarize God gets a pass and were to do what He tells us (But according to who most Christians are OK with abortion) but not to follow his example.

    1. Adam Heckathorn

Sorry for the poor punctuation. I meant, Thanks for all the answers to my question. To summarize God gets a pass and we’re to do what He tells us (But according to who? most Christians are OK with abortion) but not to follow his example.

      1. Matt Noah

Adam – I think you have a decent understanding of what I wrote. God does get a “pass” as you state. He is the author of life. If He wills or allows miscarriages, then that is His prerogative. After all, He is God. The fact that people profess to be Christians but don’t believe all of what is truly Christianity is another topic. Remember, Christians are sinners just like everyone else. I am a sinner. I need redemption and I need forgiveness.

As for His example, the things I need to understand is what is in His domain and what is in my domain. He, and He alone, can destroy that which He has created. I can’t be another God, and certainly not on the same footing as He stands. I can be a saint. He has made it clear what He wants of me. Whether it is the 10 Commandments or the Bible or the teachings of my Church, I generally know my boundaries and expectations. I have things to learn. Other Christians have a lot more to learn. Some, less. For example, I sincerely doubt the professed Christianity of either presidential candidate. I sincerely doubt the professed Catholicism of Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi or Barbara Mikulski. I am not their Judge. God is their Judge.

According to who? The short and completely accurate answer is simple, God. A Catholic, like myself, will tell you I follow God through the teachings of my Church, the Catholic Church. Other Christians will differ; many strongly. My Church tells me that there is the inerrant Word of God as expressed in the Bible, Holy Tradition and the Teaching Authority of the Church, aka the Magesterium.

As Jon rightly points out, the Bible was not completely written for decades after Christ was crucified, died and arose. So, what was a true Christian to do without a Bible between then and when the Bible was completed? Answer: Holy Tradition and the Magesterium. Who was the Magesterium after the Resurrection? First, it was Peter (the first pope) and those surrounding him (apostles). After Peter, it was Linus in 67 AD.

This is not a trivial matter. It has divided Christianity probably since the death of Christ. But you asked and I have given you a concise answer which I hope keeps your mind thinking and questions coming.

          @ 9:51; Re. Magesterium;

There is no mention of accretion.

@1;55; Of course not. It is the definition used by the RCC. Other words used by the RCC; “Crusade, Boil him in oil, burn him at the stake, Inquisitor, Ban, and more recently; “I will move him to another parish”. bankruptcy. I can think of more.

        2. Wanna Be Sure

Having looked through so much of this blog and all the things Matt has said I am prompted ask – what was that strong medication you were telling Wanna about. Perhaps you should cut down a bit.

      1. Wanna Be Sure

Matt; Your “strong medications” (plural) @ 8-1-16-4:32 was not in context with your 12:51.
I prescribe stool softener. You are full of it, and you are straining.

          1. entech

Not ad hominem when it is true, in this case it is a simple statement of fact, you are indeed full to overflowing with excrement. Actually I was a bit wrong not overflowing which is why Wanna recommends some means of reducing the straining, he is offering this advice in a friendly and helpful manner; of course, you won’t recognise this as helpful as you view everything as hateful – quite sad really I am sure you had potential at some stage.

        1. Matt Noah

entech and wBS – 2 aliens from the planet htrae, where everything on earth is backwards. It is interesting that a jumbled earth could be a planet called hater, the same letters are used. Try love, not hate. You’ll find yourself having a more joyful existence.

Now it’s aliens and planet “htrae”. It just gets better. Getting jittery?

I haven’t heard such bullshot from the Cult of Christian Shariah Law as represented by henri and mattie in about a week! Its all speculation, assumptions and twisted logic /reason wrapped in such righteous indignation that begs to be tossed in the dumpster.

  11. Matt Noah

And still no response from Jon about his idiotic premise that abortionists operate in a “war zone”. I guess when you don’t have proof or courage, you keep your mouth shut.

    1. Matt 8:00 And still no response from Jon about his idiotic premise that abortionists operate in a “war zone.

Another example that you live in a bubble and seldom or never encounter the real world. Or, maybe you encounter it and just do not understand what it is.

The link written by a Doctor who performs abortions she alludes to her danger. I’ve known personally a couple of doctors who performed abortions and they both had a constant stream of threats for their lives. The people who work at clinics receive threats. I received threats.

When I was out of office, one of the regular abortion protestors showed up at my house and invited himself in. It was just after the Florida abortion doctor had been murdered. This fellow went on and on about what a hero the murderer was. He then went on about how he, himself, had never accomplished anything like that. Then, he launched into a tirade about how powerful and evil Jane Bovard (clinic administrator) was and how much better the city would be if she was not there. After he left, I called the cops and they had a talk with him.

Being in circumstances where there are threats against one’s life is what I regard as a war zone. You are free to define the term war zone in any way you choose.

  12. Adam Heckathorn

Matt OK so God gets a pass I believe we are in agreement on that. If conceived eggs really are little humans that should have the same rights as us how can you be OK with God who is responsible for all these deaths? If he has the power to do something about it and is a moral being he should or he is the most heinous monster ever. I would like an explanation why is is OK for sidewalk bullies to go beyond the example set by their God? If God is responsible for the deaths of more than anyone else on earth why hassle abortion doctors? Assuming God exists for the moment isn’t it more reasonable to conclude as the majority of Christians have that They are not really human beings at this time Otherwise God would have acted?
